For churches & ministries

One Sunday, from service to report.

Follow a single Sunday's giving through Stellium: from the first M-Pesa gift during worship to the report on the treasurer's desk on Monday.

  1. 7:30 amSunday · before the service
    01

Your giving link is on the screen.

Put your church's giving page on the projector, in the bulletin or in the WhatsApp group. Members choose a fund, Tithe, Offering, Building or Missions, and give from their seat.

    • Ready the day you sign up, with your own funds listed
    • Separate pages for each branch and each campaign
  2. 10:15 amDuring worship
    02

M-Pesa gifts arrive as people give.

Each member confirms on their phone with their M-Pesa PIN. The gift is recorded in Stellium straight away, with the giver's name and the fund they chose. Nobody has to copy it from an M-Pesa statement later.

    • You choose: approve M-Pesa gifts yourself, or let them post automatically
    • Every gift is linked to the member who gave it
  3. 12:30 pmAfter the service
    03

The offering is recorded, counted and checked.

Ushers record envelopes and loose cash as an offering batch. The count is verified, and the cash custodian confirms they have received it before it goes into the safe. Each step is signed off by name.

    • Always know who counted, who checked and who holds the cash
    • Every envelope recorded against the member who gave it
  4. 1:15 pmApproved and in the books
    04

Approved, and recorded in the right funds.

Once the custodian has confirmed and finance has approved, Stellium creates a giving record for every envelope and records the whole batch in your books. Building money goes to the Building Fund automatically.

    • A clear record of who approved it, and when
    • Members' giving statements update by themselves
  5. 10:00 amMonday · at the bank
    05

Banked, and matched to the statement.

The cash is deposited from the safe, and the deposit is recorded against the bank slip. When the bank statement comes in, upload it and Stellium matches its lines to what you recorded, leaving only the exceptions for you to check.

    • Know exactly how much cash is in the safe at any time
    • Any difference between counted and recorded cash is shown, not hidden
  6. 4:00 pmMonday · the treasurer's report
    06

The report is ready before anyone asks for it.

Giving by month, by fund and by payment method, fund balances and the full financial statements are already up to date. Download a PDF for the board, or share the numbers with the pastor straight away.

    • Giving trends by service, category and department
    • Income statement, balance sheet and fund balances, any day
Before & after

Close the cash book. Open the full picture.

Most church finance offices run on a cash book, M-Pesa statements and a spreadsheet only one person understands. Here is the same Sunday, both ways.

Before The cash book and the spreadsheet
  • Every gift written down two or three times
  • M-Pesa statements matched by hand, days later
  • Building money mixed in with general funds
With Stellium One record, in the right fund
  • Each gift recorded once, the moment it arrives
  • M-Pesa gifts recorded automatically, with the giver's name
  • Every fund tracked separately, always
For pastors & finance committees

Leaders see everything. Only the right people can change it.

Your pastor and finance committee can follow income, spending, fund balances and budgets without handling transactions themselves. Each person can only do what their role allows.

  • See the whole picture: income, spending and bank balances on one dashboard
  • Follow every fund: building, missions, welfare and other designated giving, kept separate
  • Watch spending against budget: each department's spending next to its approved budget
  • Approve with confidence: approve requests up to your own limit
  • Check the history: every approval and change is recorded with who did it and when
